It provides an opportunity to interact with the best-known professionals from the Advertising, Marketing, Media, Research and Communication fraternity.


It is the organizer of some of the pre-eminent events of the industry like – ABBYs, EFFIEs, EMVIEs, Marquees, DCode, and the annual Ad Review. It also hosts the M.Ad QUIZ, Screening of Cannes and Clio awards and conducts various educational workshops.

Implementing the Solution

Undertaking an indepth project study of the workflow requirement for each award, which involves
 

  • The process of sourcing Entries for the Awards

  • The Process of conducting the Judging of  Awards

  • The processing, analyzing  and providing the Results of the Awards to the Managing Committee of Adclub

Marg undertakes the managing, monitoring and executing of all the above mentioned Three awards in a Year on a turnkey basis wherein the Task Involves
 

  • Attending the Town hall meeting, wherein all  Advertising Agencies discuss on the  finer points as to the Award  for the Year is concerned based on the experience and future estimations

  • It involves  brainstorming sessions wherein the best in the Advertising discuss on various issues relating to categories addition, deletion, clubbing of categories, or splitting of categories, entry fees
     

Where any category definition has to be made clearer and whether any category has to be combined whether any new category has to be introduced sharper so that entrants can understand the same better

 

Minutes of the meeting are prepared and circulated amongst the attendees, to receive feedback or objections if any, if by error any major point discussed have been left out.
 

The process begins of finalization and approval of the Entry Form

Providing a Digital Solution with an online Portal for sourcing Entries 
 

Once the Entry form is approved, the same is digitized and put on an online portal for sourcing entries for the Award Event.

A deadline is provided by which time all entries have to be submitted. Once the entry form goes online, a 24/7 customer support is also set up to attend to queries relating to the system.


Relating entries as to which category is fit under which the entrant can participate

Relating to formats of content,

Relating to what all information and content which have to be uploaded

Relating to what should be the format of a case study presentation etc.

As the deadline approaches, there are many requests about the extension of deadlines and the fees therein, even the same being intimated on the portal.

 

Once the deadline is over, All the Entries are downloaded to a local server

 

The Audit of Entry Process Begins. A team is set up which looks into all aspects of the Entry Form. Whether the size of the content uploaded, and the format of the content uploaded is right. Whether all the required content for the award has been uploaded, if not the shortcomings are noted by the audit team. Where information/content not required is provided the same be removed, so that the entry does not get disqualified.

 

All shortcomings are provided to the Customer support Team, who in turn call up the Entrants and request them to rectify/ fulfill the shortcomings so that only validated entries are put forth for judging.


Once Audit Team curates the data and submits a report to the Management that entries have audited and validated.


The validated entries are ready for judging.

Providing an offline Digital Solution for Judging the entries received

The most important function of the Awards, i.e., Judging of Entries received has to be implemented.

A suitable venue has to be booked which can accommodate  about 100 Judges(Who are the Leaders in the marketing and advertising fraternity) There are two rounds of judging. Mainly the judging sessions are conducted at Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bengaluru. As the judging is digital, all judges are provided with laptops and headphones for judging the entries. We have a team of Network Professionals as a Local LAN network is set up,  all the data is on a central server, all 100 judges will then access the server through their laptops, go through each and every entry and  the relevant case study and the audiovisual and then they will provide  scores to the entries in the category they are judging.


To oversee the judging is seamless and smooth a Team of software professionals, a team of domain assistants with technical and domain expertise are deployed, to resolve hardware, software or judging domain related issues.
 

The first round of judging is usually conducted over a period of a week. After the first round of judging the entries are shortlisted for the 2nd round of Judging and are published on to the website. The second round of judging is conducted after a gap of 15 days, required to process the first round judging results
